Hello!
I just finished watching reply 1997. I was supposed to watch this 2 years ago but I didn't and I conveniently forgot about this drama last year. When I dug up my old drama list, I found out that I was supposed to watch 1997 2 years ago and 1994 this year but I'm gonna watch them back to back.
Reply 1997 is a really lovely show. I can totally relate to this sitcom because its so true (coming from a crazy fangirl who is not as crazy now). The relationship between Shi Won and her parents and really events that happen (except for the romance part). This drama is really down to earth and I really hope that I'll be able to meet up with all my friends 10 years down the road. (I'll be 28 by then) Everyone acted really well. Maybe parts of it were a little confusing because it follows a non-linear storyline but once I really got into the drama, this drama is actually really lovely.

You're all surrounded

Hello, I just finished you're all surrounded and I think that this show is really awesome. My heart was literally beating really hard during every episode. Its an action drama by the way. I'll definitely watch this again soon if I've the time because I really love this drama. It gave me so many goosebumps whenever they solve a case.
The twist in the plot really got me this time round as I really kind of didn't expect it to be really complicated (for a murder case that happened 11 years ago to the male lead's mother in the drama). It was really dramatic but this its a drama right... I was totally mindblown by this.
However, the drama was a little choppy after. They actually created a criminal case whereby soo san and dae gu kissed and then the remaining half of the drama mainly concentrated on one case which was to solve the male lead's mother's murder. Nonetheless, the plot was good. I really love how the plot unfolds.
(I've just completed another lee seung gi's drama. That's like all as of now.)
Jaehyun is so cute haha.

High school Love on
Wow, after waiting for 4 weeks and following this drama, I feel kinda sad after watching the last episode because I miss watching woohyun and sungyeol right now.
Anyway, this is the first drama I jumped into after Alevels. (Or should I actually say in the middle of Alevels before my MCQ- the day chem and geog written papers ended) This drama was predictable because the start of episode 1 already pre-empt me that this was going to happen and I was sure it would happen in around episode 19/20. Nonetheless, this drama is cuteeeeee. Its really very watchable and enjoyable. Maybe its because its the first drama I watched in 11 months or something. Still, I enjoyed it and well, letting my emotions fluctuate with the characters in the drama. Its not draggy. Its just right and I really love the bromance between Sungyeol and Woohyun. I also love how everyone came together to protect seulbi which was really touching. The interaction between the characters are really cute and somewhat nice.
The ending of this drama did give a good impression such that I may watch it again but not so soon. It doesn't really make me ponder much (maybe it's because I'm not thinking).

But the acting wasn't really good though. Probably it's they're really young and it's woohyun's first/second time (if The Thousandth Man is counted) acting I guess.
It's Okay That's Love
I just finished it's okay that's love. The rate at which I'm watching drama is really scary. I just finished it in less than approximately 2 days. My friend recommended this to me because to her it was really good. Honestly, I was skeptical because I thought it would be quite boring when I read the plot however, I really loved how the story unfolds even though some parts were a little draggy.
I'm really amused at kyungsoo's acting as kangwoo and kwangsoo's acting as sookwang. The acting was really good. Maybe it is because I'm not a very patient person. The acting was really good which made the drama good. I also love the chemistry between the actors and actresses. It's worth watching again. Not so soon but it's really worth watching. Oh and the humor was not bad.
The impression wasn't really deep honestly (Because I wasn't concentrating about 20% of the time) but it was good enough. (D.O. is so cute btw)

Prime Minister and I + My Lovely Girl
My Lovely Girl
Watched my lovely girl when I was in Japan because of Krystal, Rain and Myungsoo. To be honest, my lovely girl wasn't really good. The plot wasn't fantastic at all. I could totally predict the plot and even the conversation which was no fun at all. (Poor Myungsoo though) I wouldn't watch this again if I feel like watching a drama again because (to me) it was quite a waste of my time such that the plot was kind of boring. (Like I said, I watched for the actor and actresses only). Not sure if its because I really watch too many Korean dramas or I've become a drama guru. Maybe I've a secret talent for lit or drama and all the ??? devices/technique.
Hello, I just finished watching prime minister and I. I watched for the character(s) again- Yoon Shi Yoon, Yoona and the kids that are really cool. I actually like this drama though the plot was a little boring. Some parts surprised me and I like the humour in this drama. I actually like watching the kids of the prime minister because they're so cute. (and suho cameo for 3 episodes). Nonetheless this drama is not totally worth watching. It didn't leave a huge impression for my love from another star & doctor stranger. And it didn't make me want to continue the drama for the whole day as I went out on Monday (today is Thursday) for a run and wasted time sitting at the benches in the park.

Post prelims and Alevels reflection
Its been almost 3 weeks after Alevels. Honestly, I'm still worried about my Alevel papers.
Ever since my BT2, time really passes really fast. Somehow, I wish I could rewind time and be a student again because next year, I'll be on the other side of the fence.
I must say that I've given my all for this exam and I've never had such discipline in my entire life until Alevels was over (then everything went downhill)
The teachers here are really supportive such that they never leave us alone. Really. (and I aspire to be like them in the future) I still remember Mrs Helen Goh nagging at me to always pick the right questions.
I'm also glad that I've joined saints advocates. Through that I've learnt so many things. Team Building Camp 2014 OIC, emcee and many little things that I've learnt along the way. I'm still quite afraid and shy of speaking in front of people. Nonetheless, planning for the camp had taught me to be practical and think rationally. Basically: Juniors first. They have to benefit most. Along the way, I had learnt to coordinate (It was no joke) and learnt that things that are not as simple as we think it is on the plan that we have to know our 100 page proposal really well such that we cannot refer to it in front of them. Dry runs are really important as we need to carry out to see if our plans worked. All the late night dry runs till 10pm and the many afternoon dry runs which require cooperation to work. Sticking to our budget and being stingy was what I had learnt during YFC.
All I can say is that I'm grateful for everyone and everything that happened in SA.
I miss being a student now.
This academic year wasn't so eventful.
Still lazing around during the holidays.

I must say that I've given my all for this exam and I've never had such discipline in my entire life until Alevels was over (then everything went downhill)
- Slept at 10pm and waking up at 6am- All for the sake of my pimples and it really helps me to concentrate during the day. It sounds crazy to sleep for 8 hours daily but I'm that of a pig
- Social media: LOCKED! - Instead of uninstalling it, I downloaded app locked and got my friend, xs, to unlock it for me if I really wanted to use it. Well, I only unlocked it once a day and eventually, it died down to 4-5 days to have one of them unlocked. It really works. Instead of going on instagram while memorizing geography because it was way too boring. I do not have the discipline to make sure I do not install it.
- Food: No fast food, No fried food. - I'm not that healthy but I did not have fast food for a long stretch of 6 months. All for the sake of my health. I feel much healthier anyway. This makes up for the time I do not really have to exercise. which explains why I'm in such a terrible state now.
- Water: 2.5 litres of water a day. - I drink so much that I go to the toilet to pee a lot of times. Its not bad actually. It keeps me awake when I study instead of drinking coffee. I admit I drink coffee though- to keep myself awake. But I do not encourage it because I think I'm dependent on caffeine. I drink coffee everyday on a school day though.
- How to have a social life at the same time: Study with my friends in the library. Not studying alone and yet, I do not talk while studying because I simply can't! Speaking of which, I'm really grateful to my library buddies- Weixin, Ngan, Bona, Evan, XinSiang & Jon.
- Music: Don't listen to noisy music or don't listen to music. - Its distracting. I regret listening because I get distracted at times.
- Studied in school everyday from 7am-9pm, studied in the library on weekends from 10am-9pm. During alevel period on some days: reading room near my house (I left my phone at home and only went home to peek at my messages during lunch) from 10am-10pm.

Doctor stranger
Just finished watching Doctor stranger.
Took 2.5 days to watch this drama. Though this drama was tad confusing and there were some parts that were not well explained, this drama was literally driving me crazy that I've to keep on going on to the next episode because it was so exciting. Well, its been a long time since I last watched a medical drama. I think the previous medical drama that I had watched was in 2012- Faith (The Great Doctor)- which more of fantasy and historical stuff which was interesting. I used to think that medical dramas were boring because all they do was to save lives. Yet, I had been proven wrong because of the plot which had made the drama more interesting (& Lee Jong Suk). Each patient they saved was a battle between 2 surgeons.
Han Jae Joon & Park Hoon, each having different motives which made it really exciting. Then comes Jae Hee who was involved in a secret mission with Agent Cha from North Korea. I thought she died at Budapest in the first episode (But then again the lead wouldn't die). I just felt that the drama was in a rush and it wasn't well explained in some parts which was a little confusing. Otherwise it is worth watching.
Someday when I read my own reviews I think I'm going to have a hard time re-picking my dramas to watch again.
By the way, I've watched almost all of Lee Jong Suk's dramas up to this. (Now left with Pinocchio)

My Love From Another Star
This drama is definitely the best drama I've ever watched in my entire life. I know that I haven't been posting here lately despite completing Alevels just a few months ago. I've watched 3 dramas to far, one of which is still ongoing. Since I've just completed My Love From Another Star, I decided to blog about this first.
I've watched many Korean dramas. First one being winter sonata/full house (I can't remember) but this one has never made me watch till 3am in the morning.
I must admit that I've never slept later than 12am this year and woken up later than 9am this year and yesterday 11/12/14 was my first time. (I thought Alevels made me have better sleeping cycles but no...)
I'm pretty much an emotional wreck right now. I can't sleep because I couldn't stop thinking about this drama. Comedy, Romance, Melodrama, Fantasy. All in one drama with the best plot ever. I thought I watched enough to predict exactly where, when and what is going happen (which was what happened to My Lovely Girl & High School Love On) but this drama caught me. Its totally worth watching again. I'll probably watch this one more time in the future when I start becoming a bum and do nothing. (Not to mention Kim SooHyun. I've watched every single drama of his) By the way I totally love how they brought in characters and lines from Dream High & The Moon that embraces the sun. I totally laughed so hard in the midst of sobbing about their fate and hating the bad older brother.
I'll watch this again.

Hello, its been about 3 months and I believe its time to update this dead space.
Though I'm still in the midst of BT2 and its been really a crazy journey, I'm really grateful that I've wonderful friends to accompany me during the really almost unbearable last 3 months. No matter what my results are, I'm still going to tell myself that I've tried my best and I still have prelims to work on before the big As.
By the way, I sleep at 10pm and wake up at 4am/5am on weekdays :] Sometimes.... 6am.
There has been a lot of things going on in my life recently which makes my life really crazy.
Well, one of which was about what I want to do in the future since I really don't have much time left and well... I think I've decided to join the teaching profession because of my new found joy in teaching. I still remember that I didn't want to be a teacher because I wasn't really the typical good student (even though I do my homework and insist to be on time for class). But I do want to make a difference in students life and share the knowledge that I have.
Others include other problems which I don't really want to think about and hence I'm not elaborating on it.
Term 2 was crazy and I'm glad that I survived term 2 and that I'm still breathing with more pimples on my face. (; Not sure if I should happy about it. The Alevel curriculum is crazy but I shouldn't be complaining right now because I'm really happy about being a student- wearing the uniform, reporting to school at 7.40am, attending class, concession rates for transport and student prices that I'm grateful for. I'm going to make the best out of my last 1.5 terms as a student and look on the bright side of life despite Alevels approaching.
Happy events in term 2 and June Holidays:
Alright. That's all I have. Byeee.

Term 1
Term 1 is officially over like 2 weeks ago and I must say term 1 was really an exciting and yet tiring and demoralizing term. Going home really late at 10pm, trying to stay awake all the time, trying to make sense of what is going on during lectures, trying to stay attentive in class despite the noise, trying to motivate myself and many more.
Was really busy with friendship week, and TBC and I just couldn't believe that Team Building Camp is over just like that after 4 months of planning. I also gotta admit I struggled like mad for math because I just couldn't get APGP, Sequences, Summation and Vectors and it was so demoralizing that I just couldn't do it even at BT1s despite redoing my tutorial a few times just to get the hang of it before moving on to the revision package.
I didn't accomplish much in term 1 except having the Team Building Camp- Operation V, carried out (reflections in another post) and having a pretty good social life. *looks at instagram* I also felt like I wasn't a really good student in Term 1 (Though I do my tutorials on time) and I'm determined to do my best for term 2.
Alright, BT1s was a mess and I don't want a repeat for BT2s especially when I step out of an exam going like.... "OH NO WHAT JUST HAPPENED FOR THE LAST 3 HOURS?" Despite studying really at the last minute for 1 week with Weixin at the library, I still feel that I was not prepared especially for math and geog because there was a lot to do and I barely knew what I was doing.
Nonetheless, I still want to thank Ngan and Weixin for accompanying me at the library, being the first to step in and last to step out, discussing chem over food and talking about retarded stuff. #totallymademylifebetter #Imserious #nojoke And also encouraging each other all the time.

- Stop using my phone in class
- Stop spending so much money on stuff that I don't know that I spend on
- Stop wasting my time on retarded stuff
- Continue doing my tutorials
- Sleep at 12am on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Sleep at 11pm on Wednesdays.
- Exercise more often (LOL)
- Don't use my phone when I study
- Be really attentive in class
- Don't be late for class AT ALL
- Revise frequently
- Maintain a good social life
- Go home earlier

The Heralds
Well.... I've yet to reflect about The Heralds and hence there's no closure to last year at all.
The Heralds is this self-initiated project by Jonathan and I've no idea how I got myself tangled in it considering that I can't really sing and that I can't even play an instrument properly. Nonetheless... I became the financial manager and external liaison.
I never thought that joining this project would require 1/2 my holidays and really a lot of time. It's indeed wild for 6 teens to produce a Christmas album out of nowhere to raise funds for the victims of typhoon Haiyan. Neither did we think that there were a lot of logistics involved.
The first recording took place at the music room in christopheri in which they couldn't record finish and hence... going over to my house to continue recording since I stay nearby. That recording itself went on till 11pm that night and I just couldn't believe what we were doing.
Weixin, Ngan and Leonard went overseas and the entire recording had come to a halt for 2 weeks while my job was to email organisations to ask them if they could do some caroling. (well, we didn't in the end because we didn't have enough time). Recordings then resumed.... 4 days BEFORE the release of the album... And that took 1 FULL day to 'complete'. I also had to contact Mercy Relief and come up with the publicity in which it was really rush. I could have done those earlier if I had known. Luckily, Mercy Relief responded to quickly and that our publicity wasn't a flop. I remember vividly that I was even calling mercy relief in the gardens by the bay which was the day before our release on 11/12/13 and even met leonard that night at 10pm just to get the full soundtrack.
Anyway, we had ORDERRS on the day of our release. ((Phew)) and we started getting our materials. Finding the cheapest CD casing, CDs and even printing and designing all on our release date. Bona and I even stayed up at 2am to discuss about the size and design of the album 1 day before and printing was the next day. Being really profit driven... I made everyone walk like the entire simlim square to find the cheapest stuff and then heading all the way back to our headquarters, Weixin's house, to start cutting the album covers and all.
Weixin even wanted to re-record his solo in which we did it the next day and it took me 17 hours to burn finish 200 CDs at one go. ((folding our handmade Christmas cards and waiting for the CD to pop at the same time)) I. COULDN'T. BREATHE. It was really crazy.
Nonetheless, in 14 days, we sold 300 albums including delivering the album to wherever our customer ones and raised $3600 (profit) in total. It was a crazy December together, meeting everyday and whenever we were unmotivated, we just thought of the victims. In addition to that, friendships were forged and we achieved many things in just 1 month- interview with the straits times, selling to the teachers (including our principal). I still remember when we were doing our handmade Christmas cards in addition to our album and still getting scolded by WeiXin because I didn't stick them properly. It was tiring okay. This includes karaoke-ing together (watching retarded videos on youtube) while making the album and just talking about silly stuff.
Difficulties faced:
I also want to thank everyone for their support especially the teachers and Mrs Lee from our school and everyone who bought our albums including our parents.
I definitely miss our headquarters and it was indeed a December well spent.

- Time constrain
- Trying to keep cost really low
- Not having seed funding
- Uncertainty that it will sell
- Hard publicity
- Did not have an organization initially
- Our designer, Bona, was back in Indonesia and it was so difficult to communicate.
- I gotta admit that we YOLO-ed a little.
- Being really shameless when approaching everyone with regards to the cause we are advocating for.
- PM-ing Mrs Lee, our principal for support
- Remembering the reason why we came together.
I also want to thank everyone for their support especially the teachers and Mrs Lee from our school and everyone who bought our albums including our parents.
I definitely miss our headquarters and it was indeed a December well spent.
