The times when I really wished that Olevels don't exist....

Yesterday was one of the best parties I've ever been to. Even though only about half of us turned up (like the usual??) but it was no doubt one of the best. 

Yepp, farewell party for sam, class party, and vivian's birthday party. All in one!!! 

It was supposed to be a surprise for sam you see.. so we all hid in the function room behind the bar counters and all and patiently wait for alrissa to fetch sam. But some how.. Sam was taking so long and was so slow. We waited for almost an hour for her! Like constant alarms like "she is coming" AHAH and alrissa's queue when she open the door was "WAHHH" LOL and we were supposed to stand up and say "HI SAM!" Hahahaha which eventually worked!

LOL After that we started to eat and get ready for running man of course and there were loads of food. Nomzzz

And then got ready to play running man by going up to the hill at like 7pm or something. LOL but then while Sam, Teresa, Angeline, Amanda and I went to the loo at sam's house (her golden retriever totally licked me) the other team saw Mrs Seah, Ms Leong and Ms Yee I think. So they had to run back to hide the drinks. HAHA while we went back after peeing. 

Then we did really funny stuff especially when we realised that chinese Olevel results are coming out on monday (I think) so.. here comes... dancing with chickens...

HAHA followed by smashing sam's face with cake. Thats not like the first time but wtv.

Then we played a few games of murderer with our teachers in which it got really tough because all the murderers are really good. 

1) kill the one beside first (thats what I did) 

2) then kill all those opposite. 

Oh my gosh and Mrs Seah was so cute while playing murderer! 

After that when the teachers left we turned the music to some soothing less partying one and then took out the drinks and you know played truth or dare and I never. (what is said in the group stays in the group) So when someone says "I never..." Then those who did will have to drink.. erm yknow.. HAHA. 

That was honestly one of the best moments of the night because everyone just got together and you know, sharing secrets with one another. Probably the last night when we all get together without worries and all before we all have to start mugging and studying for prelims which automatically leads up to olevels. And prelim is in just 2 weeks time. 

sigh.. 

Anyw, I'm gonna miss sam a lot.

HAHA did nothing much during national day except for doing physics, getting annoyed and then freak out because I'm going to fail physics and then go for tuition in which I came out of tuition just in time to sing the anthem at the mall and hear the fireworks while walking home.. (I swear we shouldn't have tuition during national day) Anyway, I'm not the kind of "Its national day. I love Singapore!!!" person but the "I love singapore for life!" I'm serious. Not kidding at all. I mean people, stop being a hypocrite. Singapore is awesome apart for the stress life here and the occasional MRT breakdowns.. But come on, we are disaster free and in my opinion the best place in the world. Look, even if the MRT breakdown, I can still walk. Imagine if the train breaks down in China or New York or something. We can cry our lungs out. Besides, we have the best food in the world!!! And a reputable university. What more can we ask for! I'm so grateful for our forefathers... People who say "Singapore history is boring..." blablabla. At least we get to know how we get to here and its all because of determination!!! 1000 cheers to our forefathers. Ok I admit its quite boring but why not go to the museum. I swear that one is really good! So much better than the book! HAHAHA.
Anyway, once again, happy birthday singapore! One day when I grow up, I'll try to contribute too! In my own small ways.. And besides, I think its stupid that Singaporeans don't stop while national anthem and the national pledge is being played over the speaker system and everyone is just like walking around in NTUC like its another song played over the radio. Come on la. Respect please!! If the staff stops then you should stop too and not act like its not the anthem.
Okay, I don't know how to end but happy birthday singapore!!! HAHAHAH
k, back to studying!!! yippiee!!

dance-a-thon 2012

Honestly, this was the best National day celebration out of 10 that I've gone for in St Nicks. Dance-a-thon (II) was really good and I'm sure I had a ball of a time and it ended without a bang. I was thinking of like line dancing or something. I mean how cool can that be.
Anyway the day started off with the awesome uniform groups doing the contingent!!!

followed by pedo-ing at brownies marching to the flagpole carrying the flag... why didn't I get to do that back then... :(

HAHA. My camera sucks so much that I can't zoom in to them but seriously they were really cute!!
and camwhoring after the national anthem and having fun singing singapore national day songs... No doubt, home is my most favourite song because I can some how relate to this song and Singapore is really really my home. And I really mean it. Even though I hate the education system here but its like a haven!!!


HAHA then we had this part when we can all go up to the field to dance so we just went up and they played all the songs that were technically for clubbing. So we're literally like clubbing. HAHAHA! So after that was all the dances and it was time for the sec 4's flashmob. The greatest item I've been waiting for like the day. I mean its so cool because no one knows about it except the PA person, the teachers in-charge of NE. Well though it wasn't really a flashmob because its like not gradual addition of people but steep addition of people by groups. And vivian and I used the code word "eat the chicken" HAHAHAHA. So its like "I'm eating 3 chickens! But I know how to eat the drumstick of the first chicken only." HAHAHA Which meant I only know part of the first part of the flashmob! Not bad right? It ended pretty well with family dance when the whole school join in to do the family dance! That's THE ST NICKS SPIRIT Woooohooo!!!
After that were more dances and I was so touched by the yellow badges... Aww dedicating a dance to us grey guides. I'd never expect that. They're so cute I feel like hugging all of them!!!

we went back to class and then we camwhored while waiting for the others who are coming to bowl with us!

After that was lunch followed by bowling.  I'm so upset because I suddenly kept on washing the stupid drain. Okay, not really but sucks. And tried to go play pool but I'm not 16 :( So after that the rest left while Vivian, Amanda, Sarah and I went around to try heels. Rubi and New look.
I think the shop assistant hates us for trying all the heels on the shelves. And I'm grateful that my feet isn't that big. But its big okay! Size 38 is big but then everyone's feet is bigger than mine HAHA. So basically I can find more shoes and fit my feet in.
And after trying tones, I conclude that wearing heels just makes your muscle hurt like crazy. But it was fun though especially with amanda still walking like a guy :P

HAHA went to cycle all the way to school again in the evening yayyy!!

its always a good time

Wow... Its been a few weeks since I actually stopped to reflect on my life or look back on my week. And guess what, its already the end of July. Time passes so fast.. And everyday is more or less the same. Its like on repeat. Just that now I look forward to every chinese lesson.
1) I have free period ever chinese lesson! I mean how good can that be! Means I can study during that one hour or so..
2) The release of my results are soon. And I'm pretty sure I can get a B.. Hopefully. And I'm definitely not retaking.
Yupp.. And guess that I look forward to chinese lesson everyday. More time to study for other subjects.. Besides, I don't have chinese extra lesson after school unlike higher chinese girls which is something good... I guess...
Besides, what I've been doing everyday is study after school, night study till 9pm or 9.30pm before going back home to sleep. Well, might as well I just camp in school until olevels are over. Then I can at least study till 10.30pm and then just sleep in school. The next day, I can wake up like at 7.10am and wash up and be on time for class! Isn't that a fabulous idea?
Actually speaking of that, the school is freaking huge (not like I'm not used to it) but its pretty scary at night when I go home. Especially the famous clock tower ghost story and all the other rubbish. Haha but if I were to stay in school I really don't mind. I'll take 10 minutes bath and I won't waste water.. Promise and I'll just sleep on the floor in the classroom. Besides if you're tired, you won't even like know where you're sleeping. If its me I'll just sprawl all over the floor and sleep like some pig. Its the same case when I go home. And by the time I reach home its like 10.15pm-10.30pm.. see which is more time consuming..
HAHAH okay enough of rubbish. Random stuff I did while I got bored of studying...






Okay, I seriously have no idea what I was trying to do but I just got bored. Anyway, emath and chem test next week. Aww man. And prelim is so soon...

usually I just listen to random songs on my playlist. And I update frequently but these 2 albums are really really good. (being biased, UP ALL NIGHT IS STILL THE BESTTT!)

july 13 was sam's last day of school. and I kinda miss her. Now that I don't have anyone to scream "wake up" at or unconsciously try to comb her hair because its too messy. I think my life is missing a color. Sigh... And also random stuff we do during guides which was too random... Especially last year when everyone was at NDP. Oh and this year's hike when we are game masters at holland village. Starbucks ftw!! HAHAHA and after that coming back with an impromptu station at the den when we hide and she ridiculously hid in the trashbag and no one could find her. HAHA and I miss someone fighting for my food. Still remember she stole my oreo and me being possessive of my food... made a big deal out of it and decided to ignore her. And then came term 3 when I sat with her for one week and we both were unwilling to share food with each other...

sports day'12

Sports day this year was the best. Ah, having sports day in the afternoon, back at this site, no doubt, bring back a lot of memories. I'm actually glad that I did not pon this because I'd regret. Or maybe not.
No but seriously, half of me was dreading because I thought I was going to be so screwed for having to spend time to attend a carnival and risk losing my voice.
But now I must say, it was worth going!!!
Yepp, started my day off by going to the guides house and lingering a little while there with aunty betty, even though I'm not in my uniform, I'm glad I could still help for a while while beatrice, ayana and cary were having their PGA breifing.
Yepp, so I've got this...

Carnation's design is being sold at the guides shop. Finally. HAHA. They look so pretty I actually bought others of her design too. She should be flattered.
Well, after that went to study for a while at the CC with Beatrice before heading to eat lunch and followed by going to my house to change and put her stuff at my house.

Joined 4U yellow buddies when I reached.. I was pretty late even though I made it through the gate on time. HAHAHA. So they all had to squeeze a space out for me. :P

Looked for Ms yee to submit by chemistry SPA worksheet and then went down to contingent! I was desperately trying to stuff my hand into the small glove covered in yellow pain. Yepp, then we were all like must show our hand with the yellow glove and purposely raise up. Yellow pride. AHHAHA and then Audrey wong came paint so our gloves were more yellow and I wrote Yellow on my hand. HAAHHAAH. So after doing family dance, the dance we've been practising for weeks.. worse for me, I've been watching it for 10 years, doing it for 7 years. Not bad right... But its still worth. Had a lot of fun. All the moments when we have to raise our hand....LOL YELLOW GLOVE and being extremely enthu. Its a beautiful dance actually and I'll miss doing it...
After that was cheers and all and screamed the top of my lungs before heading up the spects stand.
Thats when cheer starts and then after that everyone ran to watch and I'm like hahah its just cheer.

But its pretty good. But the good part were the races, that tension when everyone screamed like no other when we were coming in in top 3. Yepp and doing ye-ye-ye-yellowwww during the relay races. House spirit, IJ spirit, St Nicks spirit. HAHA. then came 2 intruders from green house- melina chew and jillian kau who were 'color blind' haha they just couldn't see from their side.

Then it rained... Just like I remembered in p5/p6? Aww man, singing songs to cheer our spirits up and did the family dance again.. This time guess who I saw.... SHONA!!!!

HAHAHA and teresa and clarissa came from blue house. :P Awesome. Yepp, so dance and camwhored for a while... And had a lot of fun with them.

Then I saw annelise!! Aww man, she remembered that she owe me 2 bucks from 4 years ago... To be honest, I actually forgot but haha I still remembered she wanted to get something but didn't have enough money..

After that we did the line dance and all.. and sadly.. they couldn't continue with teachers race and family race and and old girls race :( So it was prize giving..

After that, went to eat subway with Carnation, Ayana, Beatrice and Xenia and went home...

This week's chem paper was pretty screwed up for me.. so much for not being consistent in my work.. and no doubt math... and olevel is coming in a few months time...Sigh, next week is gonna be a pretty tough/weird one. Mrs chan is so going to kill me. I didn't even do her holiday homework except for her essays... :\ Night study is pretty productive by the way....
Oh and you gotta love this..how to curb with dull screen and extremely bright classroom, at the same time being environmental friendly...

HAHA. I'm finally confirmed. After 3.5 years. I still can't believe my journey for catechism is over. 3/4 of me feel so sad because there is nothing fun to look forward to every sunday and nothing to continue to guide me through my journey.  So technically I'm left on my own to continue my own journey. Well, 1/4 of me is rejoicing.. I don't know why.. because I don't have to wake up so early every sunday for lesson or go to church on both days if I attend mass on saturday.
All in all, I've actually enjoyed my journey and I'm pretty sure I won't let it end here at confirmation because there is more to come.... So I'm pretty sure I've to work something up apart from being a sunday goer. I'm actually considering to be a junior catechist and continue the training but I'm very scared of commitment.. :( *sighs* But there's more to learn!!

Anyway, I actually dreaded saturday's coming because I'm gonna wear a dress and I have to sit properly. (obviously... I'm in all girls school for 10 years, I'm so good at sitting like a guy) Then obviously, I'm so screwed because there is chinese oral on tuesday and emath test on wednesday and chemistry and history on thursday and physics spa on friday. Obviously you will dread like shit right. But then, I guess it was pretty good and worth it. Plus I'm scared I screw up. I mean I'm nicole, I'm the blurest person in the entire universe... Can you imagine I forgot what I'm supposed to say... Before the anointing of the prism I was frantically asking Malcom and Magdalene what to say. ._.
By the way almost everyone wore heels -_- <<< explains why I'm so short. And put make up. So stupid right. HAHA so I've got clarissa to put some eye-liner for me. But I'm cool because I don't complain about how my feet hurts.
