3 words, 2 second, 1 moment - Thank you god.

I'm back from facilitating CC1 camp.
And guess what? I don't wanna be back here. Its like a camp that thought me more than I have ever expected. All I expected was to have fun and talk to the sec ones.
But. I learnt more than my original CC1 camp.
Confirm, plus chop.
So it took my quite some time to find my old blogpost on CC1 camp 2 years back then. Hmm..

Please don't laugh at my English. Okay. So I realised I changed a lot since sec one when I was reading. My spiritual thoughts and all.
So I had spiritual preparation the day before camp and yep, wrote a letter to Jesus. To be truthful, I was really afraid. I wrote in there saying I didn't know what to do. I realised it was week 3 and I haven't started on homework at all. I also wrote that I didn't go for confession and was really sorry about it. I thought everything would just screw up for me. Like I did not even pack my bag and all. I was afraid I can't talk to the teens and all.
But guess what. I took back more than what I expected. So lets start with day 1.
The cool me who slept like around 4hours got up at 6am and got my butt out of my house. So I went to the vending machine there and there were some sec ones there already! So chatted with them. It kinda started off really really awkwardly. But soon it got really better. Said hi to my group and I have really nice people in my group. Martha, Ronald, Natalie, Brandon, Shirley, Joel. So got on the best and FMM HOUSE OF PRAYER. Still remember the times where Geraldine dropped her phone and we gather around a bed a night and start gossiping. Then got high and played ice breakers before going to get down to some serious stuff by creating persona of Jesus! So Brandon is our model and our persona is Jesus the loving lamb and he went down on fours during the walkway to the stage and all. Everyone looked really retarded and stupid. So its like fine. The sec ones got really high. Then came along the afternoon session about the skit which Brandon acted as God and had many scenes. Some how even Joel participated. So sweet. Something that I'm proud of is that I can actually engage him into writing his journal and all. For a person like me who is impatient and some how, I don't feel impatient when I talk to him. Somehow.
Okay. Then came the super fun part when its like freaking epic. THE TELEMATCH.
So thats like about the dirty stuff. We had dog and bone in mud and like everyone put slippers on top and the catechist sit there. So what the evil facils did was to drag them off. We even managed to lift Benjamin wong off the ground. Then was all the disgusting stuff.
At night was some deep sharing part where I shared my life line. The ups and downs. I realised that more or less, I can communicate with the teens and all. And surprisingly had fun talking to them. And for a person who don't actually share anything much kinda shared when I found out : hey. I used to be on the same boat. Maybe I have a solution to make them feel better. So I decided to open my mouth to share. It came out really easily. So after that was debrief and all. I died on my sleeping bag the immediate moment when we got up on the bed.
For day 2. Second group to head of to Botanic Gardens for our amazing race! Well, we were still the first group and beat my brother's group plus we completed all. I kinda admire the whole team's spirit for like managing to encourage Joel and all in into the games and he even enjoyed it. So I learnt a lot of things. Like co-operation and all and Brandon who loves holding the map but stands at the back. And everyone some how even though half dead in the morning and all but were still really hyper. And all were so efficient and helped each other. So went back and rest and get ready for mass and sharing. Tried my best best to stay awake and yes, I did. Had a feast for dinner and talked a lot. After that, went down and had some sharing and went to write notes to the CC1s. I slept the earliest apparently... 2.50am but woke up the latest.
Day 3. Woke up did laughter therapy. And then did affirmation after breakfast. Then had some debrief and left campsite.

Yes, so I prayed that uh to be able to be a good facil. I'm going to zi kua a bit but I think I am a good facil. And after going Chiang Rai and help the kids and all. I realised, maybe I can work with the younger ones well. They seem easy to approach and kinda my job. I just forget everything, all my fears like afraid of standing in front of crowds and all and shared and talk to them.
I think I learnt to be more patient especially with noises? I used to hate people for talking when others are talking. Nono. A lot of people talking at background. I'll get super annoyed and throw my arse tantrum and walk off. Well, but through this, I learnt to be slightly more patient and all with things and always remember. Teens first and we're doing this for got. I guess I drew closer to God. I don't know why, I feel so separated from him ever since sec 3 started. Perhaps I've been spending too much time with friends that I neglected him. Well, I also learnt to be a neater person. Logistics and all. And guess what. I'm the best camper in the world. Okay. Back to this. I guess this camp changed me to be a better person, to be closer to God. If I have the chance to facilitate this badge again, I'll say yes. (although, I have to tahan my brother who was being annoying)
Next stop for the June holidays... CC3 camp.

I'm missing the white badges even though its been 1 day.

Thinking over again, its 1 year for us, grey badges to shine just like what the white badges did.

The white badges, thought us a lot since like we first joined guides. I still remember the times in sunflower when Monique and XinYi shared Nata De Coco and had loads of jokes during the games. 

Oh and the calling each other being retarded when we went out to get our uniform. Its really a blessing to have them in our patrol. 

Then came along XinHui which was really nice when she first joined Sunflower. (thats when I first learnt the horribleness of transferring) I was kinda scared because like I didn't really know her well? But again she is another funny thing that brightened my life up with XinYi and Monique. And I had fun with all the rubbish we talked during patrol meeting. 

I also remembered when I received my first letter from Nicole Tan in sec one. Her really funny ways on trying to hint me who she was and my grand angel was which was Tabitha. like tabby cat and all. then she underlines TAB. Then she told me some other stuff and even lent me her test papers and all and helped me. Listening to all my rants and rubbish too. I also remember the times when I first transfered, she comforted me and all. And I don't know why, some how, I saw her more like an angel than ACL. 

Then when I joined Mynah patrol. JingYi and I were newly transfered in and we had some like funny talks on how we should bring mynah patrol up and make sure we all go for patrol meeting. And all. Which was really fun. Like talking on the phone on how to do some stuff. Maybe it was a failure or a half pass or what so ever. I had a lot of fun talking to Jing Yi and working with her. And we did really epic stuff like in the morning and our failure to ask mynah down for breakfast and all. 

Though I'm not really close to Cherida but I'll still miss her a lot. Like during camp. Sucha good camp ic. The camp ran really well with XinYi running it. And she is sucha good debater. No wonder Mynah Patrol wins. 

Hmm. There was still xinyee, my camp patrol PL last year in Romeo and Juliet. OMG, the fun times and all I had with her during the games and the failed attempts to do stuff like getting a super epic patrol cheer and all. And during camp this year, she tried our food which was kinda nice but then alicia and her spoon had grass -__- then she got disgusted. Alicia didn't really care and ate it. Thats cute!

I worked with ShiYing for outdoor challenge and oh god, I'm so glad that I got her because like it was EOY period and we are like FML. I don't know what to do. But she was really nice and all like how she helped me with my Chinese chengyu. 

Vanessa Tay, My facil! I love her! I enjoy the times when she joined us before camp in the canteen crapping while we were suffering, trying to sew the flag and our mutated mynah birds which barely looked like birds. Okay, maybe it does but maybe it doesn't. Then during camp, the hike, she bought us food and all the necessary stuff that we might need. And she was really caring. I don't know how to express but yes. 

Gah, I'm really gonna miss the whites. I'm like trashing out all the fond memories. Then I'm like more sad. I don't know why. Think the whites gave me a lot of lessons and all. 

Gotta stop getting emotional and pack for church camp. 

Got really buffer with 7hours of sleep in 100hours.

700th post to CAMPWANTED.
I'm back for camp wanted. And guess what. I miss it already. This camp was really like whoa.
Firstly, Alicia and I are in the same camp patrol for consecutively 2 years. Quite cool right.
Next, my camp patrol is joker.
Kinda a joke. -___- I'm an idiot who jokes and make fool of myself.
Campfire on the first day was great. Like I mean yeah, it rained so when we pitched our tents its all hot, sweaty and utterly disgusting like all the twines are like soaked and there weren't enough pegs and poles. So like gahhh and had to have some power of my own to tie the shoerack since I'm the only sec 3 then.... And dome tents. But on the bright side, I don't have to worry much about the sec ones while I'm building the ridge tent.
Then was raining so campfire preparation was delayed. :( So sad. But I guess we did it within 1 hour with all the constant hardcore running. Damn good. And Signature table was hmm... Pretty and sexy? ;) I don't know. It looked really like uhm the schools are wanted. Gah and light sticks and all the performance. OMG, you know, En Tian and I did I'm yours on the guitar and I'm like having major stage fright attack or something I think. And the sec fours performed really well.
Alright and uhmm I didn't sleep for the whole night and like 2am, 3am Joker Patrol was talking to you know who patrol across the tents. And like 3.45am, xenia went to check the time then went to sleep again. Tossed and turned and I realised... Damn. I thought like 2hours passed so I woke up and went out and WTH. 4.15am. -___- so I stoned and label some stuff. (some stuff like clothes and all have like double labeling) What to do. Kan Chiong. After that was PT. Was really tired and then yeap. Skip all the way to the hike. The hike was fun. Did with Mojojojo patrol and we got Vanessa Tay as our Facilitator! Fun times. Went hike in ORCHARD ROAD. Imagine walking around Orchard road, stinking and like being the bombs with like track pants and shoes that barely look like one. But it was still fun. Hehe. Still had fun and all. Then came back, did mass tin which was good. The noodles had seasoning! After that was night trail. I like. Its the band room rumour. Good one, whites. At night at meeting and all the stuff and slept at 2.30am in the classroom and froze there. Should have zonk at like ridge tent but its like 2.15am when we lights out and like gahhh so dark.
3rd day was fun. Did wide games and surprisingly, people don't know their bodmas rule. So fun to be game masters. All the forfeit and all. And after that... Had outdoor cooking. Our food was like rojak. But it tastes nice and I didn't like have disgusting shit. Hmm after that bathed and prepare for indoor campfire which was fun. :D Like I love all the items. So cute! and then had guides own. Damn sad.. Continue with the meeting and all. Slept at 3am. Was damn tired. And woke at 6am. Did clean up. Strike camp was fast this year. (; then was farewell. and promotion.
I can't imagine life without the white badges. And I feel sad for the reds. They gotta transfer and were reshuffled.
I'll miss the white badges.

CAMPwanted

Okay, tomorrow is the day that camp starts.
I'm really nervous.
What if the sec ones never bring this and that.
Never mind. I gotta worry my own first. I'm lugging the guitar, wood and bag.
And I probably have stuff that I haven't labelled and my blogposts seem so boring these days.
I can't wait for like campfire but I don't want farewell and promotion.
Which I'm reminded of sunflower. OMG. ><
And I don't want the whites to leave either. Gahhhh.
You know what and once I come back, I'll be off to church camp.
Gotta start on homework like on the 14th june.

Paradise Island.

Langkawi.
Well, I've been away for 4 really long days. And this holiday was really relaxing apart from the boring parts where you lay on the bed in the hotel and stare at the Teevee and do nothing at all.
I'm not gonna talk about what I did but more like talk about the destination?
Pulau Payar

An island with loads of fishes, no fresh water to bathe but really crystal clear water.So as you can see from the water... There are loads of fishes and there comes a shark. But hey, get a good travel package okay with like buffet lunch and like some drinks and snacks? So what my package got was set lunch, apples, soft drinks, plain water and really good stuff. But it was kinda boring for me because I didn't swim deep in and can you imagine swimming for one whole day with that life vest? Or more to say like staying in the shallow water feeding the fishes. Then, the shark comes. Oh ya! Bring your own bread there! They don't sell Bread. :(
Kilim Geopark

Okay, for this one, some travel agencies really gave really good bargains like rent out your own boat with a person driving and explains to you. So yeap, my family got that and guess what, we went to the crocodile cave (its doesn't have crocodiles) and also we also went to the bat cave to see bats. Well, it wasn't as impressive as phuket, but it was still good. Then we headed to the open sea which we can see Thailand! Oh yeah, on the way you'll see eagles, super pretty and cool I suppose? And at the open sea, there are dolphins. TEEHEE. And the air was really fresh, and not some polluted one.
Cable Car

I went there on the first day. So I took a cable car up about 705m high? It was really scary I tell you. When you look down, you can see the seven wells! Okay, and apply some coastal studies there when I look out at the sea and I see wave breakers. So we walked that bridge and again apply some rock strata information and then climb like shit back up to the cable car station. The air there was really damn good. I loved it. Rich in oxygen, no pollution, no lung cancer. Oh wait, people smoke there. Gotta dodge them.

Seven wells and the waterfalls

So here is the seven wells, climbed over 300 steps to get there which was so freaking high I almost died. The steps were rather high. And all. But the water was really nice. I felt like drinking since I climbed like shit and managed to get there only to find out my bottle is empty.
Haha, so next time, I'll lug a 1.5l bottle go.

So I walked down 200 steps to this water fall and walked deep into the forest to see the waterfalls. Then I applied faulting there! Haha. And Its so pretty. its much better than the other waterfalls. Just that its not a wet season so there wasn't really a lot of water. But this was much better than the seven wells.
I was kinda disappointed that I spent more energy on the stupid wells than the waterfall, which the waterfall is much prettier than the wells.




Then there was the fruit farm, went wrong season, no ripe fruits. :(
Oh and lastly the crocodile farm. Awesome. The crocodiles are really cute!

Think thats all about the really good attractions, don't bother about the black sand beach, the other waterfalls, craft center and so on. Didn't go island hopping because it was too costly and my parents went before and all they did was just go from island to island.
Kinda enjoyed but 4D3N is a little too long. 3D2N is a little too short. Hmmm... Oh yeah, food there was really good. Kept eating. Gotta stop munching.
